Pure religion before God the Father is this:
"...to look after orphans and
widows in their distress

Cheerful Giving
Jesus started the sermon with nine blessings which all began with the words,
“Blessed are…”
The first eight blessings are often called The Beatitudes. Beatitude refers to a state of supreme happiness. Beatitude inherited its blessedness from the Latin word beatus, meaning both “happy” and “blessed.”
What is the ninth blessing and why do you think it’s not included in the Beatitudes? Discover at The Sermon on the Mount.
What is The Blessed Are Foundation?
A group of cheerful givers started the foundation, but it is nothing without your support. Its charter allows, through US State Department approval, to provide charitable funding to orphans in Ghana. This was a lengthy and highly vetted approval process, so rest assured your donation will go to these orphans who need your help now. The foundation’s goal is to expand and assist the orphans of all West Africa.
Back in the USA, the foundation assists the exploding homeless population of New York City. During covid they were left to fend for themselves. Now the cold and rainy season is upon us. Your generous donation will help deliver food, water, fresh clothing, hygiene assistance, and other basic needs,. Prevention and solutions are key.
A hygiene center is badly needed in lower Manhattan. Showers, restrooms, and laundry center are key. Here some comforts of home will be provided like food, coffee, uplifting literature, prayer and therapy groups. After staying safe; staying clean and relieved is the number one concern relayed by so many of our homeless friends.
These less fortunate souls and these precious children need your help. Ask God to guide your heart. Sometimes a smile and a kind word is all a person needs. The bible says,
“Is it not to break your bread with the hungry And bring the homeless poor into the house; When you see the naked, to cover him; And not to hide yourself from your own flesh? Isaiah 58:7 (NASB)
Would we deny ourselves food, clothing, or shelter? Certainly not. By denying assistance to the needy, we are harming our “own flesh.” Feed yourself. St. Francis rightly said, “it is in giving in which you receive.” Jesus taught us,
“19Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20 But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” Matthew 6:19-21 (NIV)
